He was born on December 25.12.1932, XNUMX in Warsaw
He took his first professional steps at the Horse Hospital at the Horse Race Track in Warsaw. Then there was the Rzeczna Stud, the Horse Racing Track in Sopot and the return to the Horse Hospital at the Służewiec Horse Racing Track, Warsaw.
Valued and respected by breeders, athletes and veterinarians. He especially loved the Versatile Riding Horse Competition. He was appointed an Olympic veterinarian, participated in the preparations and participated in the Olympic Games: Munich 1972, Moscow 1980.
His character, personality and professionalism meant that he was appointed to the Veterinary Commission of the International Equestrian Federation. Working with the Polish Equestrian Association as a medicine. vet. created the foundations of "sports veterinary medicine" by co-editing the Veterinary Regulations and creating the Veterinary Committee of the PZJ. Always surrounded by young veterinarians with whom he willingly shares his knowledge and experience. He is the initiator of the establishment of the Polish Hippiatric Society associating veterinarians specializing in horse diseases. Every day you can meet him at the Horse Hospital on the Służewiecki Track.

Adam Jan Wasowski died in Warsaw on April 14, 2023, aged 90. He was buried in the Warsaw Powązki Cemetery in the Wąsowski family grave (section 197, row 6, grave 1).
