Legends of Polish Equestrian - Horses

The mare bred by SK Kozienice by Dar es Salam, who at the CSIO Olsztyn competition in 1969 with her rider - Wiesław Dziadczyk, jumped the wall 2,20 m.

______________________________________________________________

Via Vitae ran three seasons, but without success. Under Wiesław Dziadczyk, she became famous for setting a Polish record in the high jump - in 1969 in Radom she jumped 205 cm, but in the same season during the CHIO in Olsztyn she won the Power of Jump competition, overcoming a 220 cm high wall.

In the Polish Championships in jumping, she was able to win a bronze medal in 1974, and in 1970 she won the competition during the CSIO in Rotterdam.

The only son of the mare Via Vitae – VIACZYK (by the outstanding stallion CZUBCZYK) also jumped splendidly. .

No one expected that the 46th Pride of Poland Auction in 2015 would go down in history, due to the record price for the horses sold, i.e. EUR 4,5 million, and above all for the price achieved by the gray, Janów-bred Pepita - 1 400 euros.

(...)

Pepita was born on January 29, 2005. In 2008, she ran at WTWK in Wrocławskie Partynice at distances of 5×2000 meters, 1×1800 and 1×1600, and her results out of 7 starts were 1xI, 1xII, 1xIII and 3xIV, which, as you can see, did not hurt her beauty, and was part of the philosophy Polish Arab who is supposed to be beautiful and brave. Its dimensions are 150 - 176 - 18,75. In 2010, she is fourth at the National Show in Janów, but already in 2014 she wins the mare class and becomes the Senior Mare Champion and Best in Show.

(...)

Pepita is the daughter of Michałów's multichampion, the gray Ekstern, who won all the shows in which he participated. In 2000 he became Polish National Senior Stallion Champion, All Nations Cup Champion in Aachen, European and World Champion. He also has the WAHO trophy, awarded in 2008 to an outstanding representative of purebred Arabian Polish breeding.

Pepita's mother - grey, with a beautiful coat from Janów, Pepesza is the daughter of the legendary Eukaliptus. She was born on February 1993, 6, and passed away on January 2018, 2006. She was sold at an auction in Janów in 135 for PLN XNUMX. euro. Her photo with the stable kitty won the cover of an auction catalogue. After the sale, the auctioneer said that this price also included this kitten. It is not known whether he went with his stablemate to Hennessy Arabians in Florida. She captivated with her type, swan neck, beautiful head and movement. In Janów, she left daughters Polifonia, Pernilla, Pensacola and Pepita, and sons Perseusz and Pegasus.
(...)

Pepita, the legendary mare from the Janów Stud, still gives her breeders reasons to be proud and satisfied. One should hope that both she and her offspring will bring a lot of positive experiences and joy to their new owners.

Mares Championship in Aachen (1999). In 2000 - European Championships, in Polish colors - World Championships 2007. Sold for 1 EUR

Kwestura (Monogramm – Kwesta/Pesennik) was born on February 10, 1995 and already as a small foal attracted attention. She was very pretty, exceptionally kind and trusting, clinging to people. In the stable, she greeted us with a low neigh, hoping for a treat, a sugar cube or a piece of apple.

(...)

The fame that Kwestura gained in Paris prompted us to put the mare on the Pride of Poland auction in 2008.

Kwestura was led to the ring by Mariusz Liśkiewicz - the mare looked great being at the top of her form. She gave a wonderful spectacle, danced floating above the ground and delighted everyone.

The auction was exciting and the happy buyer was Ajman Stud from the United Arab Emirates, paying a record amount of EUR 1 for the mare.

Only in 2015 this record was broken by Pepita, Ekstern's daughter. Kwestura provided the parent stud with a great training center - a spacious hall and two stables with a total of 60 stalls. We call it the “Kwestury Centre”.

z o. o. (Esparto – Perfirka / Gazal Al Shaqab), b. 2011

Perfect is the third Polish horse to win the American golden triple crown. After Janów's Pogrom and Michałów's Wieża Mocy, it was time for Perfinka from Białka.

From the remaining offspring of Perforacja, numbering 15 animals, the most valuable turned out to be Perfirka p. 2003 (by Gazal Al Shaqab), also gray in a beautiful hreka and dry as pepper. In 2014 she was sold to the USA, where - in foreign hands, but still a living advertisement of Polish breeding - in 2016. won the Scottsdale Classic Senior Mare Championship, the second most prestigious American show after the US National Championships. Three daughters remained in her hometown of Białka - Parilla gn. 2009 (after Enzo), Perforia gn. 2013 (after Vitorio T.O.) and the best – Perfinka p. 2011 (by Esparto).

When pronouncing her name, a rhyme suggests itself: "Perfinka - girl"! There is something about her that cannot be described in any other way than "girlish charm". It consists of the "curious" look of large, black eyes in a small, dry head; and a long, slender, high-set neck; and the topline like an "ironing board", ending in a high-set and gaily waving tail; but above all – movement!

As you can see, this whole family group is characterized by a showy and effective show movement, passed down from generation to generation, but the movement Perfect is unique and incomparable. For she does not move, but dances! He runs into the show ring with a dance step, his feet hardly touching the ground. No wonder that he charms almost all judges. She started as a yearling, winning her class at the 2012 Junior Spring Show.

In the same year, she won the Top Ten Yearling Mares at the World Championships in Paris. And then it all went downhill. 2013 – Reserve World, European and Polish Junior Mare Championships, Nations Cup Junior Mare Championships in Aachen; 2014 – PSAIAHF Championships in Saudi Arabia, April 2019 – Las Vegas Breeders Cup Championships and finally, the crowning achievement – the US National Championships on November 25, 2019! Fortunately, she is only leased there, and these days she was preparing to perform in Scottsdale (13-23.02.2020), where her mother triumphed. The performance was as expected – she unanimously won her age class (8-year-old and older mares), and on the last day of the show – the Senior Mare Championships, which together gives the American “Triple Crown”!

The strenuous training took a toll on her condition, but that's what models and finalists of "Miss" competitions usually look like, and let her return to her mother herd, her guardians will feed her!
