DIXIELAND (CONOR PASS – DISTINCTIVE)

Diexieland stallion, bay, born in 1977 (Conor Pass – Dostojna).

He was in 8 state studs and only in one he did not give Dixieland the winners of the highest rank races. In 1994 he became the Champion of Breeders, and in 1988 he was second in this ranking.

Inbred 4×4 on og. Dixieland's TORNADO was coached by Józef Paliński.

With a two-year-old in an impressive style (any 5 lengths) he won in his debut and immediately left for Vienna, where in the four-horse Baron-Gustav-Sprinter-Memorial at 1100m he did not match the 3-year-old super sprinter of the hosts (TOPAIR), but beat his peer DENDRYTA ( fourth).

He proved his superiority over him in Mokotowska and Criterium, which he easily won in Warsaw. In the spring, he suffers from laminitis, but luckily when he is cured, he competes ... St.Leger and is third behind DŻUDO and DENDRYT.

The season ends with an impressive series of successes: in the first group, the Pink Pearl Award (beating the stallion CZEMPIŃ), the Great Warsaw (on a highly flexible track, he leads from the start and suffocates his rivals with the pace - he beats KOMETA, CZUBARYKA, AKCEPTA, DENDRYTA, DŻUDO and the Derby winner by 5 lengths) SINAJA, making this race probably the game most often mentioned by Służewiec regulars) and Criterium again.

He becomes the Horse of the Year 1980.

As a four-year-old, he fights JARABUB and DŻUDO. He separates this pair into Golejewko and the Prime Minister, and beats JARABUBA in the Viewer's Award. He also wins the Kozienice Award (from SURDUTA).

Traveling is clearly not good for him, because in Kincsem Dij in Budapest and Grosser Kaufhof Preis in Cologne there is no room, and in autumn he passes the third target in Criterium.

Descending from the same female line as DIAKOWA, the younger half-brother of the triple-crowned winner of the Great Warsaw Championship, also trained by Józef Paliński and successfully used after his career in DIPOLA breeding, in the herd he turned out to be one of the best sires of domestic breeding in history.

Dixieland produced three Derby winners (BACHUS, LIMAK, SOLOZZO), excellent mares (DŻAMINA, DAXI, ZAGARA, TERENCJA, OMBRELIA, AMANDINA, BIBA MOJA MAŁA), winners of the classics (NAREDO, CORTEZ - in Austria), twice the first in the Great Warsaw in the SAN LUISA half-blood breeding, horses talented in jumping (ALMANZOR, BAŁAMUT or the half-blood Wukakawiska BANDEROLA).

His daughters were excellent mothers, and the title of Horse of the Year was awarded to three of his offspring (LIMAK 1994, ZAGARA 1997, SAN LUIS 2005);
