Sonnet Master - from Książ
The Silesian 11-year-old stallion Sonet (Dastin xx – Sorbonne by Bojkot Sl.) is the most successful Polish horse in the history of one-horse driving.
He was bred in the Książ Stallion Stud and is owned by the Pedigree Breeding Center in Kamieniec Ząbkowicki Sp. z o. o
Sonnet is a combination of a Silesian mother and a Thoroughbred father. It gave us a wonderful new type - a sports horse with powerful strength and expression and endurance along with spaciousness in three gaits and great beauty. The sonnet is distinguished by great courage and ambition. Note the breadth of all three gaits and the stallion's agility.
Sonnet graduated from the Training Department as a 2,5-year-old - then he went to sports training with the player of SO Książ - Bartłomiej Kwiatek. Soneta's first successes include winning the gold medal of the Polish Indoor Cup in Pair Driving - Cavaliada twice. Even then, he showed above-average agility and speed. In 2015, during the World Championships for Young Horses in Hungarian Mezohegyes, he won the 7th place in the 2016-year-old Horses Final. In 2017, Sonet was included in the preparation program for the World One-Horse Driving Championships - Piber, Austria. After an excellent performance and second place in the marathon competition, he won the silver medal in the team and the 2018th place individually. In XNUMX and XNUMX he became the gold medalist of the Polish Championships in One-Horse Driving - Bogusławice.
Sonnet's greatest success is winning the Gold Medal of the World Championships in One-Horse Driving in Kronenberg (Netherlands, 2018). individually and a bronze medal as a team - together with driving Bartłomiej Kwiatek. It is the most spectacular sports and breeding success for Polish teams and horses of the Silesian breed.
